Job Description:
We’re looking for a skilled and F-Gas certified engineer to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of commercial refrigeration systems including display fridges, freezers, cold rooms, and remote multidecks – across a range of retail, hospitality, and food service clients throughout the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission commercial refrigeration equipment
- Carry out planned maintenance and emergency repairs
- Diagnose faults and replace components as needed
- Complete job sheets and F-Gas records accurately
- Liaise directly with clients on site
Preferred Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
- Experience with cold room construction and commissioning
- Familiarity with remote multideck and central plant refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of major brands such as Carrier, Heatcraft, Arneg, or Epta
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (advantageous but not essential)
- Experience using field service management software or digital job sheets
- First Aid at Work certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Forklift or IPAF licence (useful for larger installation sites)
